My name, 'IL SOO'

A Korean name is usually composed of three Chinese letters. My name, IL SOO, has a meaning. ‘IL’ means ‘the best’, and ‘SOO’ means, ‘very intelligent’. So, ‘IL SOO’ means, ‘very intelligent and the best anywhere’. My grandfather created this name before I was born. Korean names are often made by a child’s father or grandparents. I was the first son in my family, so my grandfather wanted to give me a name which had the meaning, ‘the best’.
