Language

The population of the earth is increasing rapidly, but the world is getting smaller. That means, the world is being globalized. Korean middle school or high school students, for example, have to take English class, which is a mandatory class. English class is not even a second language class. Now it is a mandatory subject that Korean students have to learn. Then students take Japanese or French for their second language. Like this, language is playing a very important role in present day society. When we are interested in other countries' cultures, we should know about their languages first.
